Konami promises, year after year, a significant improvement in their series, but the changes we see are usually punctual and some questionable choices in mechanics. In 2012, the tireless team of producer Shingo ‘Seabass’ Takatsuka has promised a revamped AI, enhanced physics and a mechanical inventiveness of control of the player without the ball.

Since last year, “Pro Evolution” was the champion in the visual category and in this year has kept the place. The players faces are even more realistic with the right to sweat and impressive features of happiness, pain and irritation in cut scenes from a play to another. The animation, so criticized in the past year has greatly improved, and even though is behind FIFA it is still a more realistic football game with less robotic and more natural moves.

A series of implements on the mechanics and physics made the game lightly abandon their label of arcade football. To begin, the overall speed of the game was reduced and the new physics collision greatly improved the way the players dominate the ball and play with it. Before, there was not much difference if the player with the ball was a defender or a striker, but now, the domain ability account much more when a player gets a ‘poison’ ball in their defense area. Furthermore, dribbling are more flexible, while backs use more body to press the opponent. Every now and then the players push, pull his shirt or simply surround the opponent to impede his progress.

There is no football game that best conveys the thrill of being a football player than Pro Evolution Soccer 2012. The atmosphere created when the players enter the field is incredible, with stadiums full of life, fans fluttering with each bid, photographers and cameramen moving around for the best angles, and security guards prowling the stage and coaches and alternate moving in the technical area.

Moreover, the teams entry shows European fans raising their tracks with the team name, a tradition in the old continent that the game did not miss. Another exciting are the various cut scenes between games of the career mode, including chats with the manager, coach, teammates and the press.
This game is available for the PlayStation 3 right here, and on the Xbox 360 as well for $29.99. This is a great franchise, that is available for a great price right now.
